How To Learn From Your Challenges

If you have a problem, challenge or person stressing you out, it’s often because you have not owned or transcended that area of your life. Once you master that challenge or person, it disappears. Even if it reoccurs later, you have risen above it and it does not stress you out anymore.

I like to learn from the hard challenges in life and find the upside in them and leverage them for progress, success, happiness, fulfilment and money.

What To Do If You Find Yourself Worrying Too Much

If you worry too much about what others think of you, you are minimising your vision & focus, and diluting the very thing that inspires you the most. If you constantly subordinate your inspired plan to reduce conflict or negativity, you end up serving someone else’s plan.

If it’s a person challenging you, your lesson is to toughen up, and their lesson is humility. They will give you resilience, and you will make them humble, but ONLY if you stand up for yourself and transcend the challenge. In that regard you are both equally gifting and serving each other. That’s why you should love your critics as well as your fans. That’s why you should face complaints as well as testimonials. That’s why you should be grateful for bills as well as dividends.

One thing I learned about myself, is, I’m pretty good at asking for help in every area, except the area I perceive people look up to me. So, I can go around and ask anyone for help for anything that I don’t know how to do. Now, the old me who was defensive, and jealous, and bitter, and envious, my ego would get in the way. I wouldn’t ask anyone for any help, because I didn’t want them to think I was weak, or that I couldn’t do it. I wanted to impress people, and then think that I could do things. So, I struggled on my own.

I’ve got rid of that now, because asking for help, it’s not a weakness. It’s a strength. Actually, people like you it, when you ask for help, because then they can help you. It makes them feel important. But one area of weakness for me, is, if it’s in writing books, or marketing, or strategy, or vision, or podcast, up until maybe 4 months ago, I felt like I didn’t want to ask anyone for help, because I’m supposed to know that shit. You know, people look up to me. I’m supposed to have my stuff like, figured out there. But it’s okay for you to not have stuff figured out all the time.

What To Do About Self Pity

We all feel sorry for ourselves, and it’s okay, because it’s a natural human emotion to have some self-pity and introspection. I just don’t want you to do it forever and set up these big pity parties, which you think you get this secondary gain from, but in fact, most people really don’t like. when you’re
Life is not one sided. If you disown or hide from the challenging side, your problems will keep coming at you, not as punishment, but as your greatest lesson, disguised in hardship. Commit to being brave and bold, to face your challenges head on with gratitude, and you will be empowered and resilient.

Arnold Schwarzenegger famously said, no one succeeds alone. Everyone needs help. Everyone needs a team, needs an agent, needs a PA, needs a support network. You need staff. You need customers. You need communities. You need friends. No one succeeds alone. I mean, look at the biggest companies in the world. I mean Walmart is one of the biggest employers, I believe. I think they employ like, I don’t know, is it 2 million people across the globe? So, the Walton family didn’t become billionaires on their own

What To Do When You Are Feeling Sorry For Yourself

If you’re reading this and you’re struggling, I think some of the content will help you. But if you’re reading, and you’re not yet struggling, as things get harder in business as there’s a recession, as maybe you’re struggling with the work-life balance as you’re working hard, and maybe, your energy, and passion, and enthusiasm start to wane, as you have disruptions, legal cases, reputational, and other issues, this stuff can really come at you as a surprise. It can blindside you. I probably was too proud a few years ago, to talk about some of the feelings that I had, which were, quite dark or empty. Sometimes, emptiness is worse than darkness.Wh

You have to take good care of yourself. I’m definitely not the best at this. I’m a work in progress. But some of these I do quite well. And many of these I’m figuring out just like you.

And beware NOT to fall into the trap that either ignoring it will make it go away, or defeating it will lead to no more problems and a ‘destination fantasy’. New level, new devil, and your reward for solving a problem is a bigger one. this is reality not fantasy, and awakens you to the great gift of continual learning, growth and transcendence.

Two or three years ago I set up my Foundation ‘The Rob Moore Foundation’ now my personal vision started as getting out of debt and making money and being a successful entrepreneur but I found that my clients weren’t interested in them as people don’t care what you know until they know that you care.

So I turned what I wanted to achieve into also and mutually serving vision and then my world changed, my connections changed and my impact and scale changed. So now my personal vision is to help as many people on this planet start and scale their business and get a better financial education. And people can relate to that and all of a sudden they’re involved in my vision now.

Of course, I’m never going to help everyone on the planet no matter how hard I try but if I have a goal to help as many people on the planet, I’m going to help more people. So remember if it serves and it solves problems for humanity, people buy into it. My online courses for example are a great way in which I have helped 1000s of people across the world.

I am passionate about helping as many young & underprivileged start & scale meaningful businesses that change the world and I want to help as many entrepreneurs start & scale their business & get a better financial education.

I have been lucky enough to work with and help some AMAZING people recently. Here’s just some of the many people I have helped achieve real world RESULTS.

How To Learn From Your Challenges – Conclusion

If you don’t own and master that problem, challenge or person, it will keep coming at you in different forms, people and life areas. Its purpose is to make you stronger, to force you into growth. It’s the lesson you NEED, not the lesson you want. It’s actually the greatest gift you are being given, one you should be grateful for, and a far better lesson than support or ease.

Perhaps you’ve switched projects a few times & it’s not quite brought in the cash you would have liked? You’ve gone back to the drawing board. You’re frustrated that you’re not quite making the money despite the huge effort you’ve put in. And it even makes you want to give up at times?

I am passionate about helping as many young & underprivileged start & scale meaningful businesses that change the world and I want to help as many entrepreneurs start & scale their business & get a better financial education. I go into more detail about this in my brand new online course called “How to Turn Your Passion into a Profession” where Kevin Clifton & I have a 2 hour, deep dive event in the professional studio with slides & practical actions.

I think the more kind you are to people you will make a big difference in their world. I think that there is a virtuous butterfly effect.
