5 REAL and HARD lessons we learnt from 2021

This might well be my most political review of a year in the last decade and a half, so it’s not for the feint hearted. Brutal lessons in freedom. Yet there is quiet optimism for 2022.

2021 taught us what we already knew but never did and what we should have been ready for but weren’t.

Here are my 5 brutal yet valuable lessons of 2021

Hard lesson no.1 The government are probably your biggest threat

COVID-19. Lockdowns. Vaccines. Regulation. Inflation. Taxation. Politics. Agendas. Your defence is to focus on full autonomy of your lifestyle & your income. Location freedom & recurring income are the ways to HEDGE against imposed rules.

Hard lesson no.2 Real freedom is to transcend what others think of you

Every new level reveals a new devil (challenge or problem, critic or hater). Your reward for solving a problems is a bigger one. You can run away & hide or you can face your next devil with renewed enthusiasm. Much of the judgement you fear is just an illusion in your head. Full life mastery & freedom is to totally transcend judgement, criticism, ridicule & the hate of others.

Hard lesson no.3 Globalisation vs. Decentralisation: the WAR on freedom

Is there a great reset? A new world order? The globalisation of power & big tech? Who knows. But as a result there is a MASS decentralisation movement:

  • Finance decentralised into crypto. Social media disrupting & competing with itself.
  • The audio Influencer revolution. NFTs & the Metaverse. HUGE opportunity in 2022.

Are you onboard?

Hard lesson no.4 Don’t get ready, BE ready

You have to plan for what you can plan for. You can only be blindsided by what you can’t see. Disrupt yourself. ALWAYS be ready to pivot. Always on your toes & agile. The last two years have been the best teacher to expect the unexpected.

Hard lesson no.5 YOU control your happiness so celebrate more

The great upside lesson of in & out lockdown 17.0 was that only YOU, inside, can create happiness. If you leave your happiness to ANY outside factor, it will be fleeting & elusive. The big unspoken pandemic of 2021 was global fear. You do not have to choose this for yourself.

You can CHOOSE how you feel about anything, & in every stressing hides a blessing. Entrepreneurs rarely celebrate. We should. there’s so much to be grateful for.
