Michael Jordan, arguably the greatest player in NBA history. But what can he teach you on life, business & success?

Pay close attention. He’s got a few amazing achievements to his name.

Decide. Move Forward. Lead. Take Action.

Don’t be afraid to fail. Mistakes will happen. Get in the game. Get involved. Play to win, but don’t be discouraged to make decisions by fear of failure. Sometimes the time will come to take risks and to jump with two feet in the deep end.

If everybody had their ducks in a row or were 100% certain they wouldn’t be on this journey.

“I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying”

Never Be Denied.

If something stands between you and your success, move it. Find a solution when you hit that roadblock. It exists.

There’s no new problem that someone hasn’t already had or written about in a book.

“If you’re trying to achieve, there will be roadblocks. I’ve had them; everybody has had them. But obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.”

Team Work Makes The Dream Work.

MJ didn’t win six championships by himself. He was blessed with great team mates + coaches he could rely upon.

Who do you have in your success team?

To push you when times get hard? To motivate and inspire you? To keep you accountable?

“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships”

Shoot For Those 10,000 Hours.

Fundamentals perfect technique. Don’t get lost in the details that you lose sight of the basics.

Practice, practice and practice some more.

“You can practice shooting eight hours a day, but if your technique is wrong, then all you become is very good at shooting the wrong way. Get the fundamentals down and the level of everything you do will rise.”

Setbacks Are One Step Closer To Success.

Every ‘no’ is one step closer to a ‘yes’. You’re not trying if you’re not failing. Use setbacks and failures as fuel for motivation. For your huge payoff.

Be tenacious and accept failure is inevitable. It’s a pre-requisite of success.

Find perseverance you have within in, and you will be wealthy beyond all of your expectations my friend.

“I missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I [You will] succeed”.
